Who We Are

At Tarver Elementary we are committed to academic excellence and proud of our strong ties to the surrounding community. Our highly qualified staff is dedicated to making learning fun in a student-centered environment that is engaging, stimulating and nurturing.

We pride ourselves on providing all students with a rigorous and relevant learning experience. Our teachers receive special training that enables them to offer learning opportunities tailored to the individual needs of our students, including gifted and talented learners, English language learners and special education students.

We also value our long-standing relationships within the community. We believe these partnerships support and enhance the success of our school and are an integral component of our ability to provide a high-quality, community-based education.

Location: Room B - Ms. Parson's classroom

Girls on the Run inspires girls to live a lifetime of self-respect and a healthy lifestyle through an innovative program that combines training for a 3.1 mile run/walk race with a fun, health education lesson plan. Open to all 3rd , 4th and 5th grade girls. Registration opens February 4th. For more information about the program go to www.girlsontherunrockies.org. Practice meets every Monday and Thursday from 2:30-4:00 
First practice - Monday, March 4th
Last practice - Thursday, May 16th

Fee: $170 (includes practices, 5k entry and a t-shirt!)
