Online Check In for Newly Registered AND Returning Students

Online Check-In for the 2018-2019 school year is open from June 11-August 12

Starting on June 11, the online check-in process can be accessed through the Infinite Campus parent portal account.   Class schedules for students will be made available starting August 3 in the parent portal for families who have completed the online process.

Benefits of online check-in

  • Complete the online process from anywhere with an internet connection

  • Extended timeframe makes confirming returning student registration convenient and eliminates the need to stand in line at a set date and time.

  • Easy access to the check-in process through your Infinite Campus parent portal account.

  • Electronic document upload functionality.

  • Sign-off on mandatory forms, district policies and procedures, reducing the number of mailings that need to be signed and returned.

  • Early access to class schedules.

  • Full automation and tracking of the check-in process.

  • Centralized, unified and increased efficiency of district processes that occur during check-in.

What do I need to complete the check-in process?

  • Current valid email address

  • An Infinite Campus (IC) parent portal account. *Don’t have an account, create one here. If you have an account but forgot your login information, reset your username and/or password.

  • If you have moved, you need to upload an approved proof of residence document.  Examples: Current utility bill, mortgage statements, lease agreement, declaration of residence. For more options, visit here.  

  • Contact information for all parent(s)/guardian(s) and emergency contact(s) associated with your student(s).

What schools are eligible for online check-in?

  • All district K-12 schools (non-charter)

See below for forms and information not included in the online process:

  • 2018-2019 school calendar: for information on assessment days, observed holidays and school breaks. [Spanish]

  • Health Services and Section 504: for information on required immunizations, necessary medication forms and eligibility for those with chronic health conditions.

  • Nutrition Services: for information on free and reduced meal benefits, and how to apply.

  • Athletics - middle school students interested in intramurals must submit a parent permission form [ English | Spanish] to the school office. High school students must attend specified athletic check-ins for more information.

  • Transportation - Transportation Services will send bus passes and route information to families directly over the summer.

  • Student fees: In your portal account you may see past student fees. These are from previous school years. Fees for the 2018-19 school year won’t be visible in your account until October 2018.

The Tarver Office Will Be Open Monday-Friday from 7:00-11:30 & 12:30-3:30 on the Following Dates:

May 24th-June 7th (with the exception of Memorial Day, May 28th) and again July 26th-August 14th

Watch for information about Online Registration (better described as Online Check In) to come from Adams 12 via email over the summer.  The Online Registration window will be June 11th-August 12th.  The process, which is targeted toward families that have already registered in person at their boundary or assigned school, helps us to make sure we have the most up to date contact and health information in the system prior to the start of the school year.

NOTE:  You will need to have a Parent Portal account in order to complete the Online Registration process.

BEFORE ARRIVING AT BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT-

1.  Complete Online Check-In between June 11th-Aug 12th

2.  CLASS LISTS WILL NOT BE POSTED
To determine your child's teacher, log into your Parent Portal on or after August 4th.  (Note: While we will make every effort not to make changes, this information is subject to change if movement is needed to balance classroom numbers.)  


August 13th- Back To School Night

Main doors open at 5:00.  Report directly to your child's classroom as detailed below:

  • Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grades will give two identical 30 minute presentations.  This is not an open house or drop in forum, therefore we ask you to please arrive to your classroom 5 minutes PRIOR to your desired session as doors will close at start times and late arrivals will be asked to wait outside of the classroom.  Thank you for your support.
    • (K, 1, 2 only) Session 1 5:15- 5:45 (arrive to classroom by 5:10)
    • (K, 1, 2 only) Session 2 6:00- 6:30 (arrive to classroom by 5:55)
  • 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades will run an open house forum. Please feel free to drop by your classroom any time between 5:00-6:30.

Students are welcome to bring in school supplies at this time.  


***IMPORTANT REMINDER

Since it is vital that every family have a Parent Portal account, WE WILL NOT BE POSTING CLASS LISTS.  The name of your child's teacher can be discovered by logging into your Parent Portal account and viewing your child's schedule on or after August 4th.  For assistance in logging into (or creating) your Parent Portal account and completing Online Check In, please visit an Adams 12 support session or call the Tarver office during our business hours.
