Tae Kwon Do Club
Why do Tae Kwon Do? To build confidence and self esteem, to challenge and overcome fears, improve fitness, flexibility and coordination in a safe and empowering environment.
What is Tae Kwon Do? Tae Kwon Do is a marial art, utilizing kicking and punching techniques originally developed in Korea. While the focus in class often appears to be on the physical training, Tae Kwon Do is equally devoted to developing mental and interpersonal skills.
Who will instruct? Certified instructors from Universal Tae Kwon Do will provide the instruction.
How much will it cost? $20 per student. Checks can be made out to Tarver Elementary. All proceeds benefit Tarver.
Class size is limited and is being offered on a 1st come, 1st served basis.
Kindergarten/1st grade session: October 18th, 20th, 25th, and 27th (3:00-3:45 pm in the gym.) Sign up here.
