Socks for Colorado's Tiniest Citizens Drive

Dear Tarver students and parents,

Each year in Colorado, thousands of babies are born and sent home wrapped in only a hospital blanket.  I am working with a volunteer group called Warm Hearts Warm Babies for my 8th grade community project.  The group helps families with babies in need, by providing things like blankets, clothes, socks, and more.  They help approximately 100 babies each month.  That means the group needs 200 pairs of socks each month!

This group is important to me because when my twin sister and I were born prematurely 13 years ago, my parents received clothing and blankets from Warm Harts Warm Babies.

My goal is to collect 400 pairs of socks.  Please pick up a couple of pairs of new socks, size 0 to 3 months, on your next trip to the store to help Colorado’s Tiniest Citizens.  A donation bin will be located by the Tarver office door December 4 - 15.

Thanks for donating!
