Tarver celebrates One School, One Book with art pieces
- Focus on Students
This Thursday, during Tarver's Curriculum Night, we are celebrating our One School, One Book selection: A Boy Called Bat. As a school, we wanted a visual representation of the book’s themes, and a puzzle felt like the perfect fit!
Every student—from preschool to fifth grade—and every staff member designed their own puzzle piece, showcasing their individuality. Just as Bat is a unique individual, each piece represents the uniqueness of our Tarver community members.
When put together, these pieces form our school mascot, symbolizing how we all support one another and create a strong, connected community.
Special thanks to the Tarver Elementary community for submitting this Five Star Story.
This story exemplifies our ELEVATE Focus Area: Diverse Learning. Sharing stories of how students receive engaging learning experiences and the focused-attention they need through appropriate student-to-staff ratios and varied programming.
