Fifth graders at Tarver Elementary recently wrapped up learning about the Sources of Strength. Students completed a connecting activity where they both had to identify their "Strengths" and learn about strengths of others in the class. The activity focused on the key components of the Sources of Strength Wheel-Family Supports, Positive Friends, Mentors, Healthy Activities, Generosity, Spirituality/Gratitude, Physical Health, and Mental Health. Students also reviewed how the parts of the brain work together to keep them safe and emotional regulation strategies. Tarver Elementary is always seeking ways to build community and growth healthy and strong humans.
