Our Principal

Dear Tarver Families,

This has been a terrific start to the 2025-2026 school year. I am honored and excited to support Tarver students and Staff this year. I often remind students how our community is all connected, and our job every day is to make sure students, staff, and parents are safe and learning at Tarver. This role of safety and learning lends perfectly to our major improvement strategy of creating academic and social belonging. 

This is my 27th year in education. I am so grateful to have the opportunity to serve the community, staff, and students in Adams 12 Five Star School District. Prior to coming to Tarver, I was a K-2 grade teacher at Mountain View and Meridian Elementary. I was an assistant Principal in the school district and was at Tarver for 2 years as an assistant principal. I most recently served as Principal at Coronado Hills Elementary in our district for eight years.  

I am a proud parent of Adams 12 students and I have several family members that work in the school district. Adams 12 has been my home for many years and I have learned so much from students, staff and families in our community.  

I want to say again how grateful I am to lead a group of kind students and dedicated educators. I appreciate all the parent support. Let me know if you have any questions and I look forward to the school year.
