Parent Teacher Organization
Welcome to the Tarver PTO Page!
We are a group of parents that are trying to make each school year the best year it can be for our kids! We are always looking for people who would like to join us in this effort. PTO volunteers include people who have taken positions in the PTO and some that just like to sign up and help where needed. Which are you?
How Much Time Does Helping Take?
The best part about our PTO group is that you help as much as you want to or can. We have working parents and stay at home parents that help balance our group.
When Do We Meet?
Our PTO meetings are typically held on the first Wednesday of every month. We meet from 6:30 pm-8:00 pm in the Tarver library, enter at the west side of the school directly through library doors. Hope you can join us for a meeting, we would love to meet you!
Ways to Get Involved at Tarver
CLASSROOMS: Contact your students’ teacher to see if they could use a volunteer!
DONATIONS: Own a local business? Sign up to sponsor our Tarver Trot in the Spring! Your logo will be placed on the shirts – What great advertisement!!!
FALL FUNDRAISER: Buy an item from the Fall Catalog fundraiser. Help your student get out and raise money for their school. Not to mention the cookie dough is yummy!
COMMUNITY EVENTS: We are always looking for extra helping hands at our events. We organize the community Carnival, Winter Wonderland Breakfast, Tarver Trot, Teacher Appreciation Week and much more. These events can’t happen without the help of volunteers!
TEACHER CONFERENCES: Help provide food or snacks for the teachers during Parent Teacher Conferences. A SignUpGenius will be sent out to the community to participate!
SCHOLASTIC BOOK SALES: During our school conferences, the library puts on this amazing event. We are always looking for people to help put this together. Volunteers are needed to help set up, help the kids choose their books, and help clean up the fair. Volunteers are needed for this to be a success!
