My name is Jessica Lawrence and I am very excited to get to know and spend time with your child. My favorite part of teaching is getting to know my students and watch them grow and learn throughout the year. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder in Political Science in 2005. After graduation I had a total change of heart and decided that teaching was my true passion. I enrolled to get my license the very next semester. I finished my Master’s Degree in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education from the University of Northern Colorado in 2016. Currently, I am working on my Principal Liscense at Regis University.
I have been married to my husband, Dan for 7 years and we have a two year old daughter named Mila. We love to take our two dogs Oliver and Otis on long walks around the neighborhood. We also love to read books and go to the pool whenever we can.
My philosophy of learning is that each child is unique and must be embraced for these differences. I will work closely with your child to help him or her discover their own learning styles and successes. As your child’s teacher it is my goal to help them become a self-confident learner and I will do my best to make sure that every day is a positive experience.
